Christmas market in Leipzig
The history of Leipzig's Christmas market can be traced back to 1458. This makes it the second oldest Christmas market in Germany. This year, from November 24 to December 23, Leipzig's city center will once again be bathed in Christmas magic. On the night watchman's tour, you can stroll through the atmospherically illuminated alleyways of the city center. The Advent menu at the historic Barthels Hof inn is the perfect way to round off your pre-Christmas getaway in Leipzig.
