The tour provides a fascinating insight into the centuries of town and city hall history. In 1911, the historic Old Town Hall was expanded with a newer section. The treasures inside the double town hall – such as paintings by Max Klinger and Neo Rauch – are presented here, as well as the city council chamber. Climb the High Tower for a unique view over the roofs of Chemnitz's city center. As the town hall is a service building, access to all representative rooms may not always be guaranteed.
