The trio Dreifarbenblau from Dresden plays classics from 80 years of film music history in an unusual setup and musically navigates between tango, classical, swing, jazz, and related genres. Texts woven into the program poetically connect with the music and bring film scenes to life in the audience's minds. Pieces like "Solo Sunny" or "Play Me the Song of Death," known in orchestral or big band sound, sound surprisingly different when interpreted by violin, double bass, and guitar, complemented by two vocalists. Sophia Heide, Sina Rien, and Alexander Schmidt come from different musical backgrounds. Here, you will experience the three of them together at an auditory film evening.
