Bachfest 2024 in Leipzig - Pre-Reservations for the Closing Weekend 14 to 17 June now possible!
With the Bach Festival, the city of Leipzig honours its important Thomaskantor Johann Sebastian Bach every year in June. In doing so, it follows a tradition of Bach cultivation that was already established by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. In 2024, the Bach Festival will have the special motto "CHORalTOTAL": Bach choirs from all over the world will perform Bach's choral cantatas from 7 to 16 June 2024. The highlight of this travel offer is the Bach Festival closing concert in St. Thomas Church.
