At the foot of the Fichtelberg, between Annaberg-Buchholz and Oberwiesenthal, you will find our family-run country house in a super quiet location directly by the forest in Bärenstein / Niederschlag. It is only 7 km to Oberwiesenthal.
Our house has 40 beds in 16 double rooms and 3 apartments. Ideal conditions for groups, clubs, and family gatherings.
Cycling, hiking, and ski trails can be found right from the house.

Free parking in front of the house. A secured, partially covered backyard is available for storing bikes of all kinds.
For hikers, bikers, and winter sports enthusiasts, free use of the ski and drying room.
Visitor's tax (municipal ordinance) per day is 1.00 Euro, children from 6 years 50 cents.
Dinner menu: 19.90 Euro per day or package offers
Single room surcharge: 10.00 Euro to 20.00 Euro per night depending on season and length of stay
Surcharge over holidays/advent for short stays per night 5 €
Arrival is possible from 4:00 PM. The room/apartment must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
Payment is preferred in cash the evening before departure, unfortunately, we do not accept any card payments.
You can reach us if you are coming via the A4 exit Chemnitz Süd - continue on B 95 towards Annaberg, or if you are coming via the A 72 take the exit Stollberg West, continue towards Annaberg. Then always head towards Oberwiesenthal. Precipitation comes after Bärenstein.
