Klassik/Jazz/Rock/Pop-Konzert: Frauenbilder

After the successful concert last summer, we would like to invite you again this year to the classical/jazz/rock/pop concert in the Schlosspark Thürmsdorf. Students of the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden will once again present their skills as part of "Musizieren auf dem Lande" and this time focus on the motto "Images of Women". Students in teacher training at HfMDD will explore musically and thematically how women have been perceived over time and how their self-image has changed. The vocal literature offers us many perspectives on femininity at different times and in various places. The viewpoints are very diverse, just like the styles: from the individual to the social and from the romantic song to the classical opera aria to chanson, jazz, and pop song.
