Welcome to the BASE CAMP Fichtelberg located at 980m – a place to linger, convene, embark on adventures & enjoy.
Our hostel is located at the edge of the forest of Fichtelberg, one kilometer outside of Oberwiesenthal in the Ore Mountains near the border with the Czech Republic, right at a junction of hiking and cycling trails, cross-country ski tracks, and the Himmelsleiter ski slope. And also where firs rustle, birds chirp, and stars illuminate the night sky.

You can book without any problems without a credit card. Payment on site with a card or in cash. The booking can be canceled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival; afterwards, cancellation fees will apply progressively.
The check-in can be easily done through a modern locking system. In our guest room, we issue the necessary room cards and provide all the essential information for a relaxing stay.
