The Ringelweg is a paved, car-free forest road that starts at Klötzerberg (crossroads between Bienenmühle, Clausnitz, Cämmerswalde) and ends after approx. 5 km in Oberholzhau at the ski and hiking parking lot. Free parking is available at both ends of the Ringelweg.
The path was first mentioned in 1688. It owes its name to a signpost. In 1825, Heinrich von Cottas arranged for the Ringelweg to be extended to form the dead-straight base of the snow network in the Rechenberg forest district. Today, the forest road is mainly used for horse-drawn carriage rides (sleigh rides in winter), cycling, inline skating and roller-skiing.
