Extremely challenging tour to a popular excursion destination for the first "Swiss travelers" in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains

A steady climb takes you to the mighty ‘Kuhstall’, the second largest rock gate in Saxon Switzerland. During the Thirty Years' War, cattle were hidden here from the Swedish soldiers, giving the rock gate its name. A short detour in the direction of Schneiderloch and ‘Krumme Caroline’ is worthwhile to enjoy the wonderful view. However, both destinations are not accessible for wheelchair users.
