View of Borstendorf from the ridge path

You start the hike at the church, going uphill to the left towards Floßmühler Straße. The ridge path leads you right to the sports field, the highest point of our route. Along the way, there is a beautiful panorama with views of the chess village Borstendorf, the Ore Mountains, or Augustusburg. Upon reaching the shelter, you see the "Engeldorf" Grünhainichen on the opposite mountain. After descending into the valley, the Flöhatal hiking trail leads left past the areas renatured in 2012 into the district of Floßmühle. At the new rest area, a signboard commemorates the Schönherr entrepreneur family. You can now go left or enjoy the romance of the valley a bit longer. At the next junction, go left uphill again via the Plattenweg towards Borstendorf.
