This circular hiking route enables the meeting of people traveling on both sides of our connecting border to Czechia, to explore the treasures of each other's country.
This path connects the municipality of Sohland on the German side and the town of Sluknov (Schluckenau) on the Czech side. This immediate neighborhood can be experienced in the silence of the forests, in small, dreamy, and once again cared-for settlements. The town of Sluknov, whose center is slowly being revived, invites a small stroll through the town. The hiker must definitely have seen the castle and the stately church. The path leads towards Sohland along the Rosenbach, which quietly babbles and makes its way quite primitively. Beautiful views open up on the further way to Sohland. In the center, the observatory, the church, and the town hall are mentioned here. To reach the starting point again, wonderful views of the village and the hilly landscape are offered. The path over the Alte Dorfstraße also opens the view to the local history museum Altes Weberhaus and the Upper Lusatian Forestry Museum. Unfortunately, both museums can only be visited by appointment.
