When hiking along the Weißeritztalbahn, which passes by several times a day, there is movement everywhere. Between Freital- Coßmannsdorf and Malter, you walk through the wild and romantic Rabenauer Grund and along the Enso energy adventure trail. The trail is around 10 km long and takes you along the narrow-gauge railway tracks, past steep cliffs, accompanied by the rushing waters of the Rote Weißeritz. Energy discovery stations, places steeped in legend and nature information boards enliven the hiking trail. Well signposted, you can walk from station to station. When your feet no longer want to carry you, hop on the steam train and enjoy a leisurely ride on the Weißeritz Valley Railway.
