RR ERZ T07 To the Rauschenbach and Fláje dams

As with tour 6, we start at the Lugstein, take the I-6 with a short detour to the Kahleberg panoramic viewpoint (905 m), continue uphill via Rehefeld-Zaunhaus, Neurehefeld, Neuhermsdorf and after the Teichhaus turn left up the Torfhausstraße until we pass the inconspicuous Steinkuppe (806 m) and arrive at the Oberholzhau hikers' parking lot, where the view of the Mulde valley and Holzhau opens up. Continue along the I-6 on the long straight Ringel until you reach the next hikers' parking lot. Here, take the second road to the left towards Cämmerswalde, in Cämmerswalde follow the I-6/23 left again towards Deutschgeorgenthal and see the Rauschenbach dam with dam wall on the way. In Deutschgeorgenthal, cross the border to Český Jiřetín, keep left on the I-6/23, then stay on the road to the right towards Litvinov until you reach the dam wall of the Fláje dam. First keep right along the R23a alongside the reservoir, then change to the R23 to the left and continue south around the drinking water reservoir until the route leads uphill past Loučná (956 m) to Dlouhá Louka. Continue along the R23 to Nové Město, then straight on until the cycle path branches off to the left onto a paved road, bypassing the hairpin bends downhill and then uphill again. Above, we cross the railroad line with a brief view of the Bohemian Basin and, after a few forest passages, reach the border crossing in Cinovec at the Georgenfeld high moor and the starting point in Zinnwald.
