Beautiful circular tour along the Freiberger Mulde to the Sauensäger to Blockhausen.
From Holzhau along the Freiberger Mulda to Mulda. After a long climb, you come to the legendary chainsaw in Blockhausen. It is definitely worth stopping there to recharge your batteries and marvel at the many chainsaw sculptures. You return to Holzhau via Clausnitz and Ringelstraße.

From the starting point through the forest via Torfstraße onto the Mulde cycle and hiking trail. From Holzhau via Rechenberg-Bienenmühle on the little-used road to Mulda. Be careful not to miss the turn-off to the left shortly after entering the village. Then continue uphill to the Sauensäger in Blockhausen. Via a small country lane
The tour is suitable for trekking bikes and MTBs. Only the approx. 500m path to Blockhausen may have to be pushed with a trekking bike.
Short stopover at the brewery museum Rechenberg.Bienenmühle and in hot weather at the eco-pool Rechenberg or the outdoor pool Mulda.
