The Pascherunde, as part of the main trail, is reached coming from the border crossing to Lipova. The loop can be repeated as often as desired over the designated 2 km and offers wide views of the meadow landscape. In this border area, smugglers between Bohemia and Saxony could be observed in earlier decades – hence the name of this loop.
This loop, like all single loops I – VI, is part of the main trail.
The Pascherunde is only reached when the athlete comes from the northwest – Neudorf or from the northeast – border crossing to Rožany. Here, he is very close to the border with our neighboring country, the Czech Republic. And here the terrain breathes history, as in this section smugglers, the “Pascher,” were repeatedly observed carrying out their activities in earlier times.
Near this trail is the shelter “Pascherhütte” (2) on the border hiking trail.
