Panorama trail around Hinterhermsdorf

The hike begins at the Haus des Gastes in the center of Hinterhermsdorf. The trail leads slightly uphill on the "Alte Nixdorfer Straße" to the Weifberg at 478 meters. From the wooden observation tower, you can enjoy a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view that rewards the effort of climbing the 173 steps.

After descending from the tower, we follow the "yellow dot" markings on a white background and reach the Emmabank viewpoint. Continue to Neudorfstraße in the direction of the Buchenparkhalle. A detour to the Hackkuppe (former quarries) with a beautiful view of the village is not advisable in snow and ice. The descent is via Dorfbachweg with Malerwinkel to the village square.
In wintry conditions, follow Buchenstraße from Buchenparkhalle back to the village center.
