From the starting point at the school, walk towards the town exit. Here the yellow marking starts. If you follow it, you will be rewarded for the efforts of the route with many beautiful boundless views. Along the Rothenbach, the path leads uphill across the road. At Satzunger Straße, cross it and follow the “Horizontal path” through old beech stands. At the end of the southern ring, you experience a view of the town and return to the village. Here you follow the Upper Path towards Oberschmiedeberg. On the so-called LPG road, it goes uphill to the Steinberggut, from there to the natural monument Mühlbaum. Across the ridge area, you reach the forest again and follow the Stony Path downhill to Steinbach.
