Discover Erzgebirge nature, culture and history with all your senses - in a fun and sporty way. And all this in "two countries and one region", the Ore Mountains! Fun for the whole family! Our cross-border adventure trail begins in the center of the mining adventure village of Deutschneudorf and ends in the small Czech mountain village of Lesná. There is plenty to discover at a total of 22 stations, over 30 information boards and more than 20 games and knowledge elements. Our mascot, a little mountain gnome who knows the area like the back of his hand, guides you to the individual stations. Along the way, you can "hear" nature at various sound stations, "feel" it on the barefoot trail and "see" it with the peep tube or the insect hotel. There are also interesting facts to learn about the use of water and wood, the history of the forest and the vanished villages in our region. Our mountain gnome is particularly knowledgeable about the mysterious world of mining. It is worth visiting the show mine to immerse yourself in the underground world. After a small snack in the mine's hat house, you should not miss a visit to the mineral grinding shop to marvel at the treasures from the depths of the mines. After an eventful day, you can enjoy an Erzgebirge-Bohemian meal at your destination.
Tip: The alternative to the long route is a short circular walk of approx. 6 km (stations 1 to 12). At station 2, the Deutschneudorf museum invites you to visit. Here you can visit a lovingly furnished Erzgebirge parlor and a historic classroom from times gone by.
