On the journey along Germany's eastern border, we cover a route full of history.

Cultural island for children… Cultural cities for adults

The route along the historically rich Oder-Neisse bank has it all: Afterwards, cyclists have not only discovered the lush green Neiße meadows, the quiet pine forests, and the vast sunny yellow rapeseed fields, but also a significant piece of history of the easternmost part of Germany. It begins in Zittau with its baroque bourgeois houses. Görlitz also became wealthy as a trading hub and attracts with a carefully restored old town. Bad Muskau, the last Saxon station of the route, was even awarded the UNESCO World Heritage status for the landscape park imagination of Fürst Pückler.

Anyone cycling with children should set a different goal: then the green-ringed leisure park of Kulturinsel Einsiedel becomes the absolute highlight of the stage!
