Mining educational trail Gersdorf - Municipality of Gersdorf (Glück Auf! Explore mining history)

You start this hike at the Glückauf Brewery in Gersdorf and follow Hauptstraße to Siedlerweg. Continuing on this path, you reach a viewpoint that offers a wide view as far as Oelsnitz. Returning to Hauptstraße, walk about 200 m and then turn right up Kaisergrubenstraße to the former shaft facilities of Kaisergrube I and II with rest areas and views. The path leads via Haldenweg to Plutostraße and the former Pluto and Merkur shafts. Along Schachtteichweg, continue to Garnstraße and then to Teutoniaweg. Passing the shaft buildings, you return to Gersdorf and walk along Hauptstraße back to Glückauf Brewery.
