The more challenging Kuhberg trail leads around the Kuhberg, which can be accessed from Stützengrün, Wernesgrün, Rothenkirchen and Schönheide (depending on snow conditions).
A circular trail of approx. 7 km in length leads around the 794 m high Kuhberg. Access is possible from the Kuhberg parking lot in Stützengrün, from the sports field in Wernesgrün and from the forest stadium in Schönheide. The circular trail is challenging and has some steep climbs.
The interest group "Rund um den Kuhberg" e.V. is responsible for the care and maintenance of the trails in the region around the Kuhberg. Further information can be found here.
