Circular hike from the mill village of Pockau via Ulmknochen to the Lengegfeld lime works and via Hammelberg back to Pockau. Marking; green-yellow-green
Walk from Pockau town hall via Flöhatalstraße to the Pockau Oil Mill Technical Museum. Continue the tour in the direction of the Lengefeld lime works. Follow the green markings through beautiful beech forests up to Vollebene. From a crossroads at the top, the trail descends to the Jägersteig. We cross a stream and hike uphill over the Ulmknochen 646 m to the lime works. (steep ascent - hiking trail) Caution: Always pay attention to the green markings!
At the Kalkwerk restaurant, we cross the B101 and walk downhill along the Schanzweg towards Rauenstein. (panoramic views) We cross the Pockau-Lengefeld state road and hike to the Hammelberg. From here you have a great view of Pockau. Watch out! Turn right here. Return to Pockau via the small valley.
