Hike 1 - Inner Railway

We start our tour at Albertplatz in Schöneck. This is where the legend fountain is located, which tells the story of how Schöneck came into being. Along the main road and through the “Am Sohr” residential area, you leave the village in the direction of Schilbach. At the "Haselmühle Leisure Area" you can make a short stopover, take a swing in the playground or just enjoy the peace and quiet. We follow the green markings and walk across the Birkenhäuser settlement, which is a little out of town, down to the Schilbach district of Schöneck. We leave Schilbach again along the old Eschenbacher Landstrasse and come back to Schöneck via the Bockmühle.

In the "Hüttenwirt" you can get plenty of energy before you head back up to Schöneck for the last few meters. The path leads directly to the IFA holiday park and the Schöneck Tourist Info Center, as well as the Vogtlandbahn stop . Here the benches invite you to take a short rest. Or you can reward yourself with a nice piece of home-baked cake in Ellie's coffee shop on the main street.
