This easy route leads through Dolní Poustevna (Niedereinsiedel) to the lookout hill Poustevník (Spitzberg) and passes by some restored memorial stones.
The route leads from Dolní Poustevna (Niedereinsiedel) via Horní Poustevna (Obereinsiedel) and Nová Viska (Neudörfel) to Poustevník (Spitzberg) – a small pointed hill with a beautiful view. Along the way, you pass various restored monuments and memorials.

The route starts at Dolní Poustevna station (Niedereinsiedel) and initially follows the road down into the village. Upon reaching the main street, follow it to the left through the entire village, cross a railway bridge, and pass various monuments and memorials.
Arriving in Horní Poustevna (Obereinsiedel), continue along the main street, then turn left towards Nová Viska (Neudörfel).
From Nová Viska, follow the green mark to Poustevník (Spitzberg), where you follow a green triangle marker.
After descending from Poustevník, continue following the green mark back to Horní Poustevna, then onwards towards Horní Poustevna station. You will pass a small reservoir, then walk past it to the next major road. Then turn left and walk back along the streets to Dolní Poustevna to the station where you started.
As there are no refreshment options on the route, it is advisable to bring enough provisions. Additionally, you can enhance the view from Poustevník (Spitzberg) with binoculars!
You can drive by car to the National Park station Bad Schandau and park there.
For the journey there, it is recommended to take the National Park Train U28 from Bad Schandau towards Rumburk to Dolní Poustevna station.

For the return trip, it is recommended to take the National Park Train U28 back from Dolní Poustevna to Bad Schandau.
