From the river valley to the panoramic view

In Pockau, take the Mühlenweg upstream to the Strobelmühle mill. Turn right here and cycle to Ölmühle, at the entrance to Lauterbach. Turn left onto a meadow path to Niederlauterstein - here you can expect a great view. Take the road from Niederlauterstein to Lauterbach, there is a farm on the left. You reach Lauta via the old Plattenstraße. You will pass the Drei-Brüder-Höhe with its viewing tower and the Großrückerswalde airfield. Take care when crossing state roads! Continue along the panoramic road below the Reiterwald forest to the "Altes Gericht" viewpoint and on to the B 174 towards Reitzenhain. There you take the Rätzteichgebiet junction, then reach the church in Pobershau and through Hinterer Grund on the Pockautalweg back to the starting point.
