It offers scenic sections, historical information, sights, playgrounds, and repeated opportunities for rest and refreshment. It leads past the Schwemmteich on the long-distance trade route "Old Salt Road", where the sheep of the "Großes Vorwerk" were previously driven to wash, to "scour". Over the Kreuztanne to the Rauschenbach reservoir, which will tell younger "water stories".
