From Seifersdorf through the Dippoldiswalder Heide

The hike starts at Seifersdorf railroad station. In the Seifersdorfer Strasse area, you cross the railroad tracks, a few meters further on

(approx. 100m) the "Müller Torweg" begins on the right. Following this, you will reach the Dippoldiswalder Heide after a slight ascent and walk to the "Rabenauer Strasse/Sternweg" junction with a rest area and refuge. Follow the "Alte Rabenauer Strasse" to the right to the next rest area (information board and orientation map) in the direction of Malter. Turning right, you reach the "Steinernen Messer" and the "Wolfssäule", downhill past the "Sonnenhang" residential area towards Bad Malter.

Walk parallel to the railroad line until you cross the dam wall of the Malter reservoir and then turn right into "Neue Strasse", after 100 m turn right into Seifersdorfer Grund. The path runs parallel to the river (old railroad embankment until 1912) past the Enso power station and over a stamped concrete bridge (first in Germany in 1882) to the starting point.
