This easy route leads through Dolní Poustevna (Niedereinsiedel) to the lookout hill Poustevník (Spitzberg) and passes by some restored memorial stones.
The route leads from Dolní Poustevna (Niedereinsiedel) via Horní Poustevna (Obereinsiedel) and Nová Viska (Neudörfel) to Poustevník (Spitzberg) - a small pointed hill with a beautiful view. Along the way, you pass by various restored monuments and memorial sites.

The route starts at Dolní Poustevna station (Niedereinsiedel) and first follows the road down into the village. Upon reaching the main street, follow it to the left through the entire village, crossing a railway bridge and passing by various monuments and memorial sites.
Upon reaching Horní Poustevna (Obereinsiedel), continue following the main street and then turn left towards Nová Viska (Neudörfel).
From Nová Viska, follow the green trail marker to Poustevník (Spitzberg), then follow a green triangle marker on the hill.
After descending from Poustevnik, continue following the green trail marker back to Horní Poustevna and then continue towards Horní Poustevna station. Along the way, you will come to a small reservoir, which you pass by until you reach the next major road. Then turn left again back along the roads to Dolní Poustevna and the station where you started.
Since there are no dining options on the route, it is advisable to bring enough provisions. Additionally, you can use binoculars to better enjoy the view from Poustevnik (Spitzberg)!
You can drive by car to the National Park train station Bad Schandau and park there.
For the journey there, it is recommended to take the National Park Train U28 from Bad Schandau towards Rumburk to Dolní Poustevna station.

For the return journey, it is recommended to take the National Park Train U28 back from Dolní Poustevna to Bad Schandau.
