Crottendorf circular hiking trail

Start: Sandgrube/Zschopaustraße hiking parking lot. Turn right before the first house in the village and follow a beautiful high-level path. Follow the Hüttbrettmühlenweg to Neudorfer Straße, then turn right uphill towards Waldhaus, then left along the edge of the forest and left through the gardens. Cross the ski lift on the right uphill. You reach the Schießbergsteinbruch rest area and continue to Firstenweg, turn left here in the direction of Raubmordstein as far as the Firstenweg/Alte Salzstraße junction, follow this through the forest, then right along the edge of the forest to Liebenstein, downhill over the Zschopau, take the Zschopautalwanderweg on the left, the Brückenweg on the right and cross the Güterweg, walk uphill along the road to Heidelbach. Take the agricultural road on the left, cross Scheibenberger Straße to Hegeberg with its great views. Walk along the edge of the forest through the woods, take Hammerstraße on the left and Joachimsthaler Straße on the right. Walk approx. 100 meters left along the forest path to Kalkstraße, turn left again and after approx. 1 km you will reach your destination.
