Station (multi-storey car park) Schöneck
The route follows the TK13 (Terrainkurweg) from the Muldenberg plateau through the descending Wolfsbach valley to the Flößweg junction in the valley floor. From here, we follow the signage towards Zwotental. After reaching the town, we hike towards Zwotental station.
The path surface is mostly sand-treated gravel. Push assistance is needed at the entrance to Zwotental (short incline) and at Zwotental station (about 5 m gravel track).
Attention! There is almost no mobile phone reception on the entire hike.
If arriving by car, there are sufficient disabled parking spaces available in the car park at the holiday park. It is also possible to drive by car via Klingenthaler Str. (S301) directly to the starting point of the hike at the Meiler.
It is best to park in the parking lot or in the multi-storey car park at the IFA Holiday Park.
The journey to Schöneck, located at over 700 m altitude, is possible with the Vogtlandbahn (VL1) from Zwickau to the IFA Holiday Park. For the return trip, we use the Vogtlandbahn again: www.vogtlandbahn.de. Information is also gladly provided by the Vogtland Tourism and Traffic Center at www.vogtlandauskunft.de or via their hotline at 03744 19449
