A scenic and rewarding hike around the highest mountain of the Elster Mountains - with beautiful views, idyllic hiking trails, and legendary stories along the way.
12 km circular hiking trail along forest and field paths as well as village roads. The highlight is certainly the view from the Kapellenberg Tower (open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) with an unforgettable view into Egerland, the Ascher Ländchen, and the Upper Vogtland.

Parking lot directly at the train station. Alternatively, 500 m before Kapellenberg Tower (B 92 - turnoff Bärendorf/Kapellenberg) or Schönberg (B 92 - turnoff Schönberg).
