Around Marienberg

Starting with a visit to the unique "Museum Saxon-Bohemian Ore Mountains" in the mining magazine, you walk through Marienberg's listed ideal town complex from the Renaissance in the direction of the town mill. Passing the Galgenberg (ski lift) and the brick barn, you will reach the Wagenbach valley with witnesses of silver mining. From the vantage point Blauer Stein you have a wonderful view over the picturesque mountain village of Pobershau in the valley. After a short rest, head towards "Rätzen's Brettmühle", through the Rätzteich area with forest baths in the direction of Gelobtland. The Alte Görkauer Straße now leads you over the Goldkindstein with a magnificent view over Marienberg back to the mountain magazine.
