Around Jöhstadt

The hike begins at the market square in Jöhstadt. We walk in the direction of the pharmacy and follow Bärensteiner Straße. At the town exit sign, turn left onto Ringweg (marked yellow). After reaching Pleiler Straße, we turn right and shortly afterwards right again onto Salzleckenweg. At the state border, we turn left onto the Kammweg. After passing the border crossing and crossing the bridge, we reach the Dürrenberg after about 1 km. Here we continue on the Kamweg uphill to the edge of the forest and turn left to reach the Schlössel district. Via Schlössel and Gründelweg (marked yellow) we reach the Raummühle youth hostel on the right and then the Heilbrunnen hotel and restaurant. Shortly before the hotel, the hiking trail branches off to the left, turn right at Sandweg, via Torfstraße we reach Pfefferminzweg turn left and after about 3 km we reach the Jöhstadt school hostel. Behind the house, the path leads us to the wind park, past the wind park, back to the market.
