Around Holzhau

From Berghotel Talblick briefly uphill, then take a path on the right across the mountain meadow to the Kammweg connection at the edge of the forest on the right. Follow the Alte Landstraße downhill to Rechenberg. At the Mühlgraben/bakery, turn right onto the EB path (red), follow Muldentalstraße a little to the left - then An der Schanze up to the right onto the Muldenwanderweg (MWW marked red), stay on this for approx. 4.3 km to Teichhaus. You will pass a section of the herbal nature trail, the Lindenhof and railroad station in Holzhau, discover a spring and interesting facts about rafting, while the MWW stretches idyllically along the Freiberger Mulde. At the Teichhaus, follow the green trail to the right, then the ridge trail markings uphill to Holzhau with a detour to the Steinkuppe with summit cross. At the edge of the forest, turn right onto the yellow marked path, downhill along the Freiberger Weg, then left following the signs to the Berghotel Talblick via Bergstraße and J.-Kamprat-Weg to the end of the tour.
