In Seelingstädt, the model railway club vividly addresses the theme “railway” and delights not just “little” people. The paths lead over streets and country roads, developed cycle paths through gentle hilly landscape over about 25 km length.

Until the year 2000, a railway line connected through the scenically attractive Fuchsbach valley the Elster valley with the town of Werdau and the Greiz-Werdauer forest. The cycling route 'Along the old railway – From Wünschendorf to Werdau' follows the traditional railway line through the charming Fuchsbach valley and the Greiz-Werdauer forest. The route leads over 25 km through a varied landscape with forests, natural rivers, and idyllic settlements. On the route, the Wünschendorf Fairy Tale Forest invites visitors for a tour. In Wünschendorf and Werdau, there are rail connections to the respective starting points of the route.
The Wünschendorf Fairy Tale Forest, with its houses and figures from the world of fairy tales and legends, is an attraction for young and old alike.
