The highlight of the Oschatz Christmas Market is the visit by St. Nicholas and his little helpers.
From 5 to 8 December 2024, the smell of roasted almonds, stollen, bratwurst and mulled wine will once again fill Oschatz's Neumarkt. The town hall with its Renaissance gable designed by the famous Dresden architect Gottfried Semper, the beautiful town houses, one of the oldest inns in Saxony, the "Gasthaus Zum Schwan" and St Aegidien Church will once again form the beautiful backdrop to the Oschatz Christmas market this year.
You can look forward to a Christmas entertainment programme, a wide range of food and drink, traders with typical Christmas products, animals, live music and a visit from Father Christmas.
You can experience Christmas flair in Oschatz Park or at the Wermsdorf Goose and Christmas Market in the warm goose barn at Gänsezucht Eskildsen Wermsdorf. Rides under steam with the "Wild Robert" between Oschatz-Mügeln-Glossen also lead to the Mügeln Christmas market.
