In a tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas, Schloss Burgk invites you to the "Freitaler Schlossadvent" every year on the first and second weekend of Advent . The scent of mulled wine, Kräppelchen, gingerbread, bratwurst and other delicacies will fill the castle courtyard. The festive sounds of Christmas music surround traders, craftsmen, clubs and information stands in decorated wooden huts. There is plenty of variety for children - mostly free of charge - including children's handicrafts, archery and a children's railway. Father Christmas visits the children on all four days and always has a little surprise with him.
