13th Fichtelberg Cycle Marathon

Make a note of Sunday, 15 June 2025 in your diary, because that's when the Fichtelberg Cycle Marathon will once again take you from Chemnitz, through the picturesque Ore Mountains, up Saxony's highest mountain. Discover the cultural capital of Chemnitz and the beautiful landscape of the cultural capital region of the Ore Mountains. Take on the challenge and start at Chemnitz's landmark, the Karl Marx Monument, affectionately known as the "Nischel" by the locals. From there, you will cover around 90 kilometres and 1,900 metres in altitude until you reach your destination, the top of the Fichtelberg.
