Embark on a magical hike through the Drebach crocus meadows and enjoy the blooming splendor of the "Naked Maidens".

The 2025 crocus bloom has ended! The rain yesterday and today damaged many crocus flowers, and the gusts of wind caused many flowers to simply fall over. Nevertheless, after the dry winter, we still had an impressive crocus bloom this year.

From the parking lot, walk along Persterstraße towards Hauptstraße and keep left onto the designated path along the crocus meadows. Stay on the path and cross Oberhofweg. Continue until you reach the LPG settlement and turn left there to Hauptstraße. Walk left along Hauptstraße and keep to the sidewalk back towards the parking lot. However, stay on Hauptstraße and continue past Persterstraße to Krokussteig on the right side of the street. Follow Krokussteig and the designated path along the crocus meadows. Along the way, you will reach Wolkensteiner Straße. Turn left there and follow the path along Wolkensteiner Straße. Keep left and continue on Molchgrundweg. Then you will reach Hauptstraße, which you cross and follow the street "Am Dorfbach" by turning left. Keep right on Teichweg and follow the designated path back to Persterstraße and the starting point of the hike.
No special equipment is required. Please note that the paths are mostly agricultural tracks.
The Drebach Planetarium and the Planet Trail are easily reachable on foot from the crocus meadows.
You can reach Drebach via the B95 from the direction of Chemnitz/Burkhardtsdorf via Thum, as well as from Annaberg via Ehrenfriedersdorf. From Zschopau, follow Scharfensteiner Straße along the Zschopau river to Scharfenstein and continue on to Drebach.
The central parking lot for the crocus meadows on Persterstraße is usable seasonally according to signage. Please observe the information signs.
Along the circular route is the bus stop "Abzweig Persterstr." of bus line 238, which serves Zschopau, Scharfenstein, Venusberg, Gelenau, Drebach, Thum, and Ehrenfriedersdorf. You can also start the circular route from this bus stop.
Please use only the designated paths, do not dig up or pick any plants, and avoid stepping on the meadows. Also, do not leave any waste on the crocus meadows.
