You start the tour in the direction of Fischerbaude and walk along Ringelstrasse in the direction of Torfhaus. The "Torfstrasse" and then the "Alte Torfstrasse" continue in the direction of Teichhaus. At the "Alter Bahndamm" junction, turn right and continue to Eisenbahnerweg. (Refreshments available: Restaurant zur Loipe). Continue along the old railroad embankment and later parallel to it, past the tourist border crossing. Through meadows and valleys, we reach the district of Neuhermsdorf and the Alter Bahnhof "SWF" restaurant with a small exhibition and museum. after a refreshment, we return in almost the same direction - walk along the paved road above the SWF until the asphalt begins. There you turn left again in the direction of the railroad embankment. A few steps further on, turn right into the forest path (signposted as a bridle path - direction "Altes Zollhaus"). Follow the path slightly uphill to the customs house and then turn left towards Holzhau.

A little later, the Schanzenweg turns off to the right. This turns right again and you come back to the "old railroad path" above the railroad bridge. Turn half right here and continue straight ahead. (Signposted as a bridle path) This runs parallel above the cross-country ski trail to the Teichhaus district. Walk to the "Schwarzer Buschweg" junction and after 2.5 km you will reach the district of Holzhau. At the Wanderzwiesel turn right towards Berghotel Talblick and, after crossing the main road, take the Johannes-Kamprat-Weg.
